TierrAmar has planted 5,000+ trees in the Sierra, generating direct employment in ecological restoration by employing Kogi indians, single mothers and local farmers to carry out the following activities:

âž¾ Native seed recollection throughout the forest.
âž¾ Germination of these seeds in the Janindu Natural Reserve’s nursery.
âž¾ Care for and water the nursery’s seedlings.
âž¾ Plant the seedlings around dry streams and watercourses, on eroded land, in former illicit crop plantations, and in coffee and cocoa agroforestry crops.
âž¾ Water and monitor the planted trees.
