​We are a women-led nonprofit and non-governmental organization founded in Colombia in 2013 to protect and restore aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems, while integrating marginalized communities in our conservation efforts and strengthening local environmental education. TierrAmar was founded by a Colombian ecologist when she was 25 and she has been managing the organization ever since.
